Cave Background es uno de los cuatro bloques básicos más comunes que se encuentran en un mundo nuevo junto con Dirt, Lava y Rock. Su semilla es de donde esencialmente se mezclan otros bloques, por lo que es un item importante en Growtopia. Se pueden encontrar en mundos recién creados, a excepción de algunos mundos destruidos o generados con algún blast.

Curiosidades[]
- Colocar dos fondos de cueva uno al lado del otro hará que se unan, creando un patrón continuo.
- El Dark Cave Background (fondo oscuro de cueva) y Monochromatic Cave Background (fondo monocromático de cueva) se parecen mucho al Cave Background (fondo de cueva), y solo aparecerán en mundos generados con un blast.
- Una Digger's Spade le permitirá al jugador romper la tierra y el fondo de la cueva de un solo golpe.
