Quest adalah jenis tugas yang harus dilakukan pemain untuk menerima hadiah setelah selesai. Ada banyak tugas di sepanjang permainan yang bisa dijelajahi pemain. Contohnya adalah: Daily Quests, Life Goals, Epic Quests, Biweekly Stone Soul Quest, Role Quests, Carnival Quests, dan Legendary Quest.

Pemain dapat melihat kemajuan mereka dengan mengetuk ikon wrench pas di sebelah nama pemain (sambil menekan wrench) dan mengetuk "Goals & Quests".

Crazy Jim Quests[]

Pemain bisa menelepon Crazy Jim dengan meng-wrench Telephone dan telepon 12345, ini akan dialihkan ke Crazy Jim's Quest Emporium yang akan menampilkan tombol yang pemain dapat menekannya untuk menyelesaikan berbagai pencarian.

Daily Quests[]

Daily Quests adalah pencarian di mana para pemain diminta untuk mengirimkan jumlah item yang sewenang-wenang dengan imbalan Growtoken. Pemain perlu mengirimkan dua jenis item, yang bisa berupa balok, bibit, atau pakaian (misal 23 Checkpoint dan 200 Platform Cave Seed). Pencarian secara otomatis ulang pada pukul 00:00 waktu Growtopia. Semua pemain memiliki tugas harian yang sama persis.

Life Goals[]

Life goals adalah pencarian di mana pemain diminta untuk melakukan berbagai hal untuk meningkatkan Awesomeness mereka dan juga untuk mendapatkan hadiah. Tiga life goal diberikan setiap hari dan jika pemain tidak menyelesaikannya, mereka akan berlanjut sampai selesai. Jika life goal telah selesai, pemain harus menunggu hingga 00:00 waktu Growtopia untuk mendapatkan life goal baru. Pemain juga diizinkan untuk melepaskan tujuan hidup dan menunggu item baru. NOTE: X maksudnya jumlah yang dibutuhkan dalam sebuah quest.

Hadiah dapat berupa bibit acak, jumlah gems acak atau jumlah experience acak. Setiap life goal yang telah selesai memberi pemain 1% Awesomeness, dapat menjadi hingga 100%. Semakin tinggi Awesomeness pemain, semakin sulit life goal, dan semakin baik hadiahnya.

Epic Quests[]

Epic Quests terdiri dari berbagai tugas sulit yang menunjukkan penguasaan dalam berbagai kegiatan. Pemain yang menyelesaikan semua Quest Epic dapat mensponsori item mereka sendiri, asalkan mereka juga memiliki catatan perilaku yang bersih. Daftar Epic Quest terdiri dari tugas-tugas berikut:

Biweekly Soul Stone Quest[]

The Biweekly Soul Stone Quest is a quest where players are given two weeks in order to complete three different tasks. Completing all three tasks will give the player a Soul Stone. The quests reset every 14 days and cannot be cancelled.

The tasks given to the player are the same as the ones for completing Crazy Jim's Life Goals; three random ones are picked for the player, and these quests can vary from player to player.

Role Quests[]

Role Quests are quests that were added in the Role Up! update. It consists of a variety of tasks relating to the player's specialization which are: Farmer, Builder, Surgeon, Chef, Fishing, or Star Captain. The update included roles that can be accessed through the /roles command. Leveling up specific roles will grant the player items. Each day, there will be a specific role that will give extra points and a Growtoken upon completing the first quest.

Carnival Quests[]

Carnival Quests consist of a variety of tasks that only comes during The Carnival.

To start a quest, players must find The Ringmaster and pay 10 Golden Tickets to him. Players can take as long as they require to complete the quest and may require multiple CARNIVALs to complete. Players are required to reach The Ringmaster if they are to move onto the next quest. Players can also give up a quest at any time but must pay another 10 Golden Tickets to start a new quest.

Tasks[]

Note: The Ringmaster gives out random tasks in any random order. The player can receive the same type of quest consecutively.

This is a list of the possible tasks which can be given:

Quest	Description
Fetching	Deliver an arbitrary amount of a certain item.
Harvesting Trees	Harvest an arbitrary amount of blocks to meet the total rarity requirement (for example, a Lava tree has a rarity of 1. If the quest requires the player to harvest trees that have a total of 4,000 rarity, they would need to break 4,000 Lava trees).
PVP	Defeat other players for an arbitrary amount of time.
Earn XP	Earn an arbitrary amount of XP.
Earn Gems	Earn an arbitrary amount of Gems. This does not require the player to give the gems to The Ringmaster.
Deliver Gems	Deliver an arbitrary amount of Gems. This requires the player to give the gems to The Ringmaster.
Perform Surgeries	Successfully perform an arbitrary amount of surgeries.
Play Carnival Games	Win an arbitrary number of carnival games.
Break Blocks	Break an arbitrary amount of blocks.
Rarity Breaking	Break an arbitrary amount of blocks to meet the total rarity requirement (for example, Lava has a rarity of 1. If the quest requires the player to break blocks that have a total of 4,000 rarity, they would need to break 4,000 Lava blocks).
Harvest Producers	Harvest produces from an arbitrary number of producers, such as Cows and Chicken.
Earn Growtokens	Earn an arbitrary amount of Growtokens.
Defeat Villains	Defeat an arbitrary amount of Villains.
Shatter Crystals	Shatter an arbitrary amount of harmonized Crystals.
Radioactive Quests	Collect an arbitrary number of radioactive items, such as Radioactive Chemicals and Crystals.
Fishing Quest	Fish an arbitrary quantity of weight, or lbs, of any fish.
Fossils Quest	Prepare an arbitrary number of fossils in a Fossil Prep Station.
Train Fish	Train an arbitrary amount of fish.
Boss Ghost	Banish an arbitrary amount of Boss Ghosts.
Splice DNA	Splice DNA in a DNA Processor to make an arbitrary amount of prehistoric items.

Rings[]

Note: There is a possibility that players can obtain the same ring more than once. Ten of the same ring can be exchanged for another random ring.

Quest	Description
Fistful Of Rings	Three rings on each of the player's hand. These rings do not have any special effects.
The One Ring	A bronze ring that turns the player's body invisible except for their facial features and clothing.
Gemini Ring	A green ring with a gold Gemini astrological sign on the top. This ring grants a twin (same size and clothes) that follows the player and their actions.
Ring Of Force	A silver ring with a ruby-like jewel on top. This ring turns the player's punching fist into a translucent red fist. It allows players to punch other players further and break blocks faster. Upon breaking the blocks, they will explode, and fragments of the block's seed will fly out.
Ring Of Winds	A bronze/gold ring with a light-blue jewel on the top. This ring summons clouds for the player to stand on, providing a Parasol effect.
Ring of Wisdom	A purple ring with a pink jewel on the top. It gives a 10% chance of getting double XP from breaking blocks, harvesting trees or using consumables.
Ring Of Water	A blue ring with a deep-blue jewel on the top. This ring encases the player in a blue bubble that contracts and detracts and turns the player's skin blue. This ring allows the player to swim faster in water, like the Swim Fins and reduces the damage the player receives from burns, like the Asbestos Boots.
Ring Of Smithing	A black ring with a miniature anvil on the top. This ring is required to forge items using an Anvil.
Ring Of Shrinking	A gold ring with a yellow jewel on top. This ring shrinks the player down like a Mini-You.
Ring of Nature	A gold ring with a dark green jewel on top. It provides the player with a 25% chance of speeding up the growth time of a tree by 1%.
Ring of Night	A black ring with a diamond-like jewel on top. It illuminates an 18 block radius of darkened areas covered by Dark Cave Background around the player.

Legendary Quests[]

A Legendary Quest is a quest which includes 20 different quests that players can go on in order to receive a legendary, untradable item. In order to start a quest, players must be at least Level 40.
