Comet Dust is a consumable that is spawned in worlds with many people during the Night Of The Comet. When using 200 Comet Dust, it will be converted into a Starseed, giving the player the "We Are All Stardust" achievement.

Comet Dust spawns in worlds with at least one person, every ten minutes. The more people there are, the more likely they are to spawn. It spawns exactly the same method as Fireworks, Magic Eggs, and Winter Gifts.  When a player picks up a Comet Dust, they will be given the "Sparkly Dust" achievement.

Wearing Cosmic Cape will have rare chance to drop Comet Dust from breaking any block, even when it isn't Night Of The Comet.
