When equipped, the Freeze Ray grants the Punch Range : Freeze Ray mod, which allows the player to punch one tile further. It will also replace the player's punching animation with shooting an ice beam.
Trivia[]
- The item's description is a reference to the movie Despicable Me, where the main character Gru, disguises as a doctor and a captain during some scenes, obviously equipped with his Freeze Ray.
- The items appearence doesn't ressemble Gru's Freeze Ray exactly, it looks more like Megamind's cryo-gun, which transforms shot victims into ice cubes.
