The Haunted Window is an unsplicable background block which was added as part of Halloween Week 2016.

Function

As a dark background block, a Haunted Window enshrouds the tile it is placed on in darkness.

Light source blocks may provide light to neighboring dark tiles when placed. In a similar manner, a player can illuminate their dark surroundings by equipping certain light source clothes. The Night Vision Goggles disregards darkness completely.

This item, alongside several other Halloween Week blocks, are considered derivatives of the Haunted House block, which was added in 2013.
