- This item depicts a duck based on the ones found in Dink Smallwood, an action role-playing video game created by Seth, who also created Growtopia.
- During the game's early stages, Painting: Dink Duck existed as a different painting called Painting: Dink On Fire. As its name might suggest, it featured the titular protagonist of the Dink Smallwood game being engulfed by flames.
- The data and sprite for Painting: Dink On Fire no longer exists in the game's current state, as it had been replaced by Painting: Dink Duck due to an unknown reason.
