The Sack O' Joy is a splicable back item which was added as part of Growtopia's release.

When equipped, this item grants the Cheerful Giver mod, which allows the player to drop gems from their own balance as they move around.

When the player runs out of gems, no more of them will be dropped.

The Sack O' Joy is the first item to be based on Santa Claus's sack of gifts, the second one being WinterFest 2021's Santa's Super Sack.
This item is considered a part of the santa set, which consists of the following items:
- Santa Hat (hat)
- White Beard (face)
- Santa Vest (shirt)
- Santa Pants (pants)
- Sack O' Joy (back)
Dropping gems with a Sack O' Joy used to make the player lose XPs, since that players were able to gain them from picking up gems.
Dropping gems into a Display Box or Transmatter Field no longer works due to a patch, which is intended to prevent players from selling dropped gems to other players.
A blog post written by ex-developer Hamumu revealed that the Sack O' Joy is the first clothing item in Growtopia to grant "special powers".^[1]
