Star Tool

Star Tools are items used in Startopia to voyage through space. The tool is used up during the voyage. There are twelve different types of tools and any of them can fall from a Star Tool Tree or produced from a Star Tool Droid. 5 of each of the twelve Star Tools can also be bought from Galactic Goodies in the store for 15,000 Gems.

List of Tools

Tool	Use
AI Brain	Used to view the player's success rate of a specific star voyage, protect against computer attacks, and attack enemies using technology.
Cyborg Diplomat	Used to talk with aliens and resolve conflict. May not work all of the time.
Galactibolt	Used to repair the player's ship when damaged.
Gigablaster	Used to defend against aliens attacking the ship's crew.
Growton Torpedo	Used against attacking other ships, massive beasts, and defending against attacks against the ship.
HyperShields	Used to defend against aliens attacking the ship's shields and for defense when under fire by enemies.
Quadriscanner	Used to scan for important information (e.g. scanning for treasure).
Space Meds	Used to heal the crew when low on health.
Star Supplies	Used to improve reputation and distract beasts.
Stellar Documents	Used to deal with delicate diplomatic situations.
Tactical Drone	Used to scan for anything around the ship, most star voyages require this to be used before anything else.
Teleporter Charge	Used to send the crew on a journey. Required for most star voyages.
Star Tool Background	Unobtainable by players, used as an icon for when the player is missing a tool or if a tool is unavailable to use.
