The Steam Vent is a splicable non-solid lava pain steam foreground block which was added alongside the Steampack as part of Anniversary Week 2016 on January 8, 2016.
Function[]
When linked with other steam blocks, a Steam Vent will function as a lava pain block for 3 seconds each time steam power passes through. Otherwise, it doesn't do anything by itself.
As a lava pain block, a Steam Vent knocks the player back and puts the player on fire until the player stops all motion when touched. A player will die after making contact with a lava pain block five times in quick succession (recovering from damage takes roughly 5 seconds), but a player with the Fireproof mod may take up to ten consecutive hits.
