The Training Port is a foreground block that was added alongside the Gone Fishin' Update. You can only put perfect fish into the port, and the port only works when it is connected to a Fish Tank.
Each port can only hold 1 perfect fish.
Feeding Fish
You can feed your Training Fish via Fish Food - each food gives the fish a certain amount of XP. The fish will eat ALL the food selected.
- Fish Chunks - 1 XP per Chunk.
- Fish Flakes - 50 XP per piece.
- Goldfish - 1.8 XP per 1 lb. Only feedable to Mahi Mahi, Whale.
- Sunfish - ?? XP per 1 lb. Only feedable to Dogfish, Goldfish
- Catfish - 1 XP per 1 lb. Only feedable to Dogfish, Bass, Sand Shark, Goldfish
- Dogfish - ?? XP per 1 lb. Only feedable to Bass.
- Mahi Mahi - ?? XP per 1 lb. Only feedable to Bass.
- Weird Manta Ray - 6 XP per 1 lb. Only feedable to Whale.

You shouldn't overfeed your fish, as your fish will become "super full" and will need Fish Medicine. Failing to medicate your fish will cause your fish to die. Fish require a lot of attention. It will generally change its status every 2 hours (For example, your fish will go from hungry to starving). Make sure your fish is Moderately Full before going to sleep, or else it will probably die. If your fish dies, it can be revived with a Fish Reviver, which can be purchased in the Growtopia Store for 5,000 Gems.
Fish Leveling
- Level 1 to 2 is 50 XP.
- Level 2 to 3 is 150 XP.
- Level 3 to 4 is 175 XP.
- Level 4 to 5 is 250 XP.

- Level 7 to 8 is 600 XP.
- Level 8 to 9 is 750 XP.
